ABOUT LAS PERLITAS
In Spanish, Las Perlitas means “Little Pearls.” The name refers to the small, carefully cultivated coffee lots produced by independent growers across Huila. These smallholder farms often harvest quantities that are too limited to export individually, despite offering exceptional cup quality.
Rather than overlooking these smaller lots, they are selected and combined based on cup score and flavour profile, creating a cohesive, export-ready selection defined by clarity and character.
Las Perlitas Huila is a washed coffee composed of various small lots from farms situated between 1,600 and 2,000 metres above sea level. Many of these producers cultivate Pink Bourbon. A variety increasingly planted in the region for its elegance and expressive sweetness. While the composition may occasionally include Caturra or even small amounts of Geisha, recent harvests are often predominantly Pink Bourbon.
The result is a coffee that reflects both altitude and meticulous selection. Structured, vibrant, and quietly distinctive.
