Raspberry Rumble
Process: Natural
This expressive, natural Ethiopia was produced by Marta Alemu in the famous coffee region of Yirgacheffe. Typical for natural East African coffees, it is very expressive, full of fruits and has a bold body. Expect it to open with strong raspberries and florals. Black tea and raspberries will take you through to the sweetness of white grapes and brown sugar, accompanied by a hint of bergamot. A true gem for those who appreciate expressive East African coffees.

ABOUT MARTA'S FARM
Marta has been cultivating coffee since the 1980s in Worka Sakaro, an area in the famous coffee region of Yirgacheffe. She uses agroforestry techniques to produce lots of the highest quality. It allows her to create the ideal shaded microclimate for her coffees. She inherited a plot of 2 hectares from her family and added two more to that with profits from her coffee production.
Marta's farm is organic by default. The ripe, red cherries are selectively handpicked and put to dry on raised beds. They are turned frequently to make sure the cherries are dried evenly, which can take up to 4 weeks. Through agroforestry techniques she produces both food and cash crops. To boost yields, she maintains her farm through periodic mulching, composting, and pruning.
With our roast, we aim to highlight the fruity and juicy notes that characterize this natural Ethiopia, without overaccentuating the acidity.
