ABOUT SESEAN'S COFFEE
In Perindingan, South Sulawesi, Indonesia it was carefully handpicked by the women’s cooperative Sesean . After the harvest, the cherries are pulped the same day, followed by a speedy transfer to the washing station. Finally, they undergo a 14-day fermentation submerged in water. The women's coop works at an altitude of around 1300m, which creates an exceptional cup that reflects the soil, altitude, and strong dedication to quality of the Sesean coop.
This beautiful lot of coffee fully consists of the S795 variety, a cultivar of the Arabica that is known for being widely used by coffee producers in India. The S795 cultivar is used for its relatively strong resistance to coffee rust, an issue that can severely impact the yield of one's lot.
With our roast, we aim to highlight the bright and crisp notes that characterize this washed Indonesia, without overaccentuating the acidity.
